Ticket Question A friend of mine just got a ticket for 'class D' violation for driving a motor vehicle between the hours of 12:00 am and 6:00 am, but here is the catch, he turned 18 two weeks ago and thereby doesnt fall under Gwinnett's curfew law anymore. What should he do and what will it cost him if he pays the fine instead of fighting it?

Perhaps you should read the law that he was cited for first. Go by the court house where the citation was issued and check out the ordinance. You don't just study civics in high school you know.

I have to ask...are you a dumbass or are you and your friend just to damn lazy to see what you have been cited for? Either you want help or you don't. Hell just don't go to court and let your friend have a warrent for his arrest issued. Better yet, go to court and tell the judge the ticket is bullshit, and that his court is bullshit.

I'd say go to court and try to explain the situtation. I got pulled and the cop just told me to get an updated license and go home (no ticket), but that was like 2 years ago. I sure as hell wouldn't just pay the fine. That's what they want you to do.

Any idea what the fine is? I have tried to call the reporters court and I was on hold for over a hour and had to go back to work....cant find it anywhere online.
BTW my friend was let off lightly with this ticket. He was given the ticket instead of being cited for street racing...thats why he is thinking of just paying the fine.
