Mechanic Is it customary to tip the mechanic at the dealership repairshop. The guy replaced my rear brakes and did a power steering flush. Should I give him something for that?

No, I was referring to the actual worker not the shop. Last time that I took my car there, after the paid the bill, the worker hung around my car. I thanked him like 3 times but then I was thinking that maybe he was expecting or waiting for a tip.
Is it a european car? If its a domestic dealership then tip only if you are impressed with the work done. Some M-B or BMW techs expect a $5 bill here and there throughout the day lol.
The oil bay techs at my shop get tips all the time(cept when BadAndy worked there cause he suxs LOL) but there is nothing wrong with showing appreciation for a guy who goes the extra mile.
