guess i'll say hey to. nice to see some chevy guys around alabama. i was starting to think that there were only pustangs and ricers around. . i've never been to bama speedway. where is it? i've been to steele a whole bunch but not with my car yet. going to take her soon though. later guys

I'm here representing Montgomery. I only get to see B'ham guys when they come down here to MMP. Few other guys here, only one I know on LS1Tech for sure is JNorris.

Hey Vann, when you comin' to MMP?

Alabama as well. We need some more F-bods @ Bama Dragway this friday night at 7:00. There has been a blower cobra uprising and it needs to be taken care of.

For some reason that doesnt surprise me. Seems like everywhere you go thats all you see. But I guess thats a good thing though, because then you dont see thousands of f-bodys running around. I would go, but I seen on Steele's website they will be open sat 1-9pm & sun, not sure what time on sunday though.

yeah i saw that cobra sat nite,al of my buddies run up there,we all have f-bodys,mine is almost finished,as for the zr1 man,its a pro mod or quick 8 car with an all aluminum 632 nitrous motor,f-bodys rock

Where is the Bama Dragway located, I'll do a search see if I can find it.

Wish we could help you out with more F-bods up there, but winter is down time...my car needs drag tires, plus the interior is ripped out right now, changing out that yucky tan interior to all charcoal.

As for our SS, the clutch is shot, waiting on the $$ to buy the new clutch, flywheel, and adjustable master cylindar, and with that it maybe okay for some track runs, but we're suspicious that the syncros are starting to go, so we'll see what happens. Maybe in a month we can make it up there....

i hear that my 5th and 6th are out right now so i'm waiting on money to get a new clutch and rebuild kit. then after i get my Pro 5.0 i will be making a trip to steele and finally get some times.

Sorry I forgot about you and Clint, Greenfire. I guess that I was thinking you were still in the Carolinas.

I'd love to make it up to B'ham to race and hang out, but I work 59 hours a week, so I'd have to find the time somehow...

Well, i just noticed you too, im glad to see some locals on the boards. Now i guess i need to get another car so i can fit in. I sold my cammed lt1 last year and im already wanting another camaro. I might try an ls1 this time around, not opposed to a crazy lt1 setup though. Now i just need to find a job to buy my car!
