Hey guys help a brother out. After loosing to Ben, we all know he will never let me live it down. This may affect me emotionally for years to come. I may never be able to look at a TA again with out

I think everyone should contribute some money to buy Metalbeast a 3.54 Ring & Pinion set for his car. That would go along way to heal the emotional scarring that Ben has (and will) inflict on Metalbeast's already fragile psyche.

Get some tires or a stall. Either will help more then gears. I'll ask again, what did everyone run

Considering my 2.59 rear, I think gears would be the best mod along with some tires. Hell, I cross the traps in 3rd gear running 3400 RPMs. When ever it shifts it drops out of its power band.

I only ran twice. Ran Wilie E and we both couldn't hook for ****. I ran 13.0@107.6 (2.22 60') and to his 12.8@114 (2.26 60'). Only other run was against Ben. I ran a 13.26@105.8 on that run.

With 2.59 gears you shouldnt be shifting into third. 6400 rpms will be good to 115mph in second gear with a 25.5" tire. Either way I think a stall would still help your car more.

I have a 2400 RPM Stall, but I really wish I had a 3000. Maybe I should get both gears and a bigger stall. I also think putting in my shift kit wouldn't hurt. I am not really concerned with modding the Vette much more anyway. Got the Camaro that I am going to start on as soon as I finish my garage (which should be in the next month). The Vette runs high 12s even with a shitty sixty foot and that is cool with me right now. Its more of a date car anyway. I am expecting some REAL results from the Camaro
