Default New Exhaust

Here's a sound clip

Chambered stainless works 3.5" outer, 3" inner chambered muffler after Y pipe, dumped before axle. You can see the entire system.

1050rpm idle

Its really deep, similar to your exhaust at idle mike. I like it because it's simple and lightweight.

Because two is heavier, more expensive, and less ground clearance. One flows more then enough for my engine, so two would just be a waste.

From summit. If I remember right it was around $110. Butt dyno seems to have picked up power over the cutout

I like your setup and was thinking about doing mine like that. Is there any drone in the car? I can't put duals on mine cause of the Sphon tq arm mount. I have a cut out there but at part throttle driving it gets on my nerves open. I was wondering with it having a muffler if it fixed all that? Great job and thanks.

No, there is zero drone with this muffler, I love it. 10 times better part throttle then the old cutout, and still 80% as loud. Just zero drone and zero rasp.

Cool, thanks. I am going to get the dynomax bullet and try it. Not sure what length yet. The car loves the cut out open but I just can't stand it at part throttle. I was hoping that having the bullet in there would quiet it down alittle, but still have the wot responce. Thanks.

My friend has the exact setup as mine with a dynomax bullet if you'd like me to dig up some sound clips of his.

That would be great if you could. I just can't make up my mind about it.

Thats cool. Thanks anyway. You think 3' will be big enough or should I try 4"? I know my car likes to breathe. It picks up atleast 1.5mph in the 1/8th opening the cutout.

If there's a 3.5 or 4" bullet available, might as well. But it isnt going to help if your Y pipe is only 3". Mine is 3.5 and 3" straight through internally and it seemed to pick up OVER the cutout. Probably some sort of scavenging effect.

Mine is a mufflex Y. It is 3" in and 4" out. It has a reducer from the 4 to 3 but can always be cut out. Thats why I was debating on the 3 or 4. There is a 4" bullet too. It would be tight but I think it would work.

If you've got the mufflex, might as well put a 4 incher on there if there's room.
