Default F-Body Gathering (help)

Ok, I just reserved a room for us. We are not planning on entering the car show. Is there any reason we should register? I will cost us $80 for our 2 cars and don't want to do that if it is not needed.

As far as I know you will need to be registered to park in the Gathering area. Registration also allows you to attend the GMMG Inc Open House and several other events.....

Most importantly it helps the man who puts this entire event on OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET ... Andy and team do this each year out of love and nothing more. There are huge expenses encountered putting on a show of this size... Your 80 bucks helps alot!!!!!

To summarize, you do need to register to participate in the events and park with the other 400 cars.

Hope this helps

Does this gathering have a drag race for those who wish to participate? Or is it all car show?

Thanks

Good to hear you are going. We will need to park together. Since myself, the two of you, and David(Taz) is going, I will look into the min. for a club parking area. Or we can just park close to one another. If we can get a few more locals to attend, then I know we will have enough to park as a club. Just need a name. David and I have talked about this earlier, but we were unsure how many will actually attend.

Good idea! Have you thought of any names? The newly weds can take two cars too. And then there is Tim and Steven too!

In construction, the simplest answer is usually the right one.

I'm going to be there I reallly look forwards to meeting you guys... I'll be there with the Triad F-body Club. We're heading down Friday afternoon and will be there until Sunday evening. $40 per a car isn't bad at all if you look at it as being able to park your car in a secure area that will be patrolled by Atlanta Police as well as the events they have planned each afternoon at the hotel. Not to mention the sweet price on a hotel room, MUCH cheaper than I would've expected it to be.

We are going down Wed eve and can get spots reserved for the group, just need final headcount up to event. WNC Fbodies sounds good for now, we can hold our first meeting their and discuss things further if everyone else is in agreement. Looking forward to this event. 22 days!!!!!
