Default machine shop (block cleaning)

does anyone know how much it cost to get a engine block cleaned by a machine shop

i had a friend who had a block cleaned, they changed him $1,000 for block cleaning and new cam bearings installed.

I'll spray some Gunk on it and wash it down for 25 bucks....

No whats really going to be funny, if ruck does this and the motor still is no good!! Better junk/sell that one and buy another one, TRUST ME ON THAT!!

Shot blast cleaning is not cheap, but it will look like you just pulled it put of the mold. That's mainly for rusty, greasy blocks. Standard vat treatment will get everything clean also, including all the areas you can't possibly clean with engine cleaner and a brush.
