car is almost ready to go
for those who dont know the week after i added the cam.. untuned on 3.23's with 100lbs put in the trunk to help the street tires it ran 8.03 in the 1/8th mile.. kinda funny cuase last wenter it was running 8.1x consistenly with only a lid and cutout... since its got the 3k stall.. cheap shitty midlength headers and cam ect ect...
however if u count the 100lbs added for that run, we did this after it went like 8.70 or somthing the first pass lol... seemed to help.. but if u factor that its dropped 300lbs of weight since the 8.03.. will be tuned with 4.10's instead of 3.23's... "car was never tuned for headers or stall even", if i can get it to 1.70 60ft.. which i think it should do.... were hoping for mid 7's the next time out on the nittos! also replaced the bent up stock tq arm, that was making quite a nice clunking noise....
car should weight just under 3300lbs raceweight with carpet and stereo and no lightweight parts ordered yet... this is a non option car minus 250lbs of **** or 186lbs since all the mods... i think it will go 7.50 on the nittos even in hte heat but who knows
then we got the full dyno tune, fuel upgrades, 28" slicks and skinnies/ more weight reduction to make up for the roll bar ect before i shoot for 7.2x's on the 3k stall on motor, or spray it... yes i said 7.2x's on the 3k converter lol.. then im swapping in a th350 with much more stall

Where did ya run at? Shady side? Greer? If you havent ordered tires yet get the Mt-et street radials insted of nittos... If ya want a very good tune contact lady RedHawk she will hook you up lol......

i feel a dyno tune is really the way to go... i dont kno enuff about tuning, but i trust this guy to do it right... there are very few ppl that will ever touch my car and he is one.
as far as the nittos.. a guy i know on a local board sold me 1/2 used nittos for 40$... prolly worth 150-200$... so for 40$ i can go ahead and make a few passes shitty or not until i get some 28" slicks.. or may get 28" m/t radials who knows
