In very simple terms, the Mustang dyno uses Power Absorption Units (PAU's) which load the rollers into simulating highway conditions such as inclines or headwinds at higher speeds. This is very valuable when using a dyno for troubleshooting a vehicle.

Most Dynojets do not do this, most are strictly an inertia roller drum, so the horsepower numbers are typically slightly higher when running on them vs. the Mustang Dyno.

Both are good dyno's and each has it's place.
