it had hooker lt headders and off road y, air lid, k&n and preadator when i bought it. it is getting 3.73's today. probably next will be a bottle and a good tire. how bout you?

mine is a auto, it is a exact clone of jeffs car except mine is leather and his is cloth.
jeff has heard it run. he is putting the nine inch under it now. then he has to get a drive shaft made.
i want to ask you a technical question. last night i was on the way home with my preadator watching my knock and when i am cruising it is fine but as soon as i floor it the knock retard goes crazy and pulls between 2 and 14 degrees out of the car. what do tou think might be causing it. i had childs fix the floor board slap with the lt y pipe and did not see anything else touching but the driver side o2 sensor is a natts *** from touching the floor board.

I had the same problem, I couldnt hear it/ or see it. But I jacked the car up & crawled uder there with my mag light & there was space all around the k-member & my headers. But I finally found a place on the drivers side where they had been rubbing on the k-member while the motor was running. I installed poly motor mounts & fixed that problem. Hasnt happend since. It like to have drove me nuts.

Man i hate you guys........i wanna f'in go. I think i'll be able to drive in another month w/ my brace on and im goin back to FMS Aug 26th for one more chance to get this bucket Trans Am tuned right then hopefully i'll see ya'll in Sept w/ a properly runnig TA. Then maybe in October i'll be well enough to bring the SS

I just got finished with oredering the prothane mounts from thunder racing. Wiley at pro perf saw a small spot right at the bottom that you could not get your finger between the k-member and the headder. Wiley and I massaged the headder a little and the knock retard is less but not completely gone, so I hope the mounts will fix it!!
