nice to meet you Ed. i know the feeling. i went on a 9 month deployment to iraq for eduring freedom/iraqi freedom.
Whats up Ed!!!!! How is it in the "sand box" as they like to call it? Hope you get home soon, and safe. Clint and I were in Va the end of June, we're coming back up the first of August, we might see you this fall when we get in town for Christmas. Would be nice to meet up with everyone again.
I do know for a fact that the AF needs linguist's that was one of the questions the recruiter asked me back in May. Seems there is a shortage.

nice to meet you to stangkiller...I feel for ya on that 9 months. Im about to lose my mind here after 3 months
yeah it really sucked out there. the only real benefit was tax free pay and hazard duty pay the whole time i was there. i bought all kinds of goodies for my car, then i traded it for the 2001 z28 i have now. oh and you can call me chris, it feels funny being called stangkiller.
a brand new porshe 997 with 3000 miles on it and a full cage. a isuzi impulse with a wild paint job and it was all stereo and tvs, that thing was loud. it said area 51 on the lisence plate. musta been putting out like 10,000 watts. the usual classics and muscle cars some vipers, an nsx and maybe 2 f-bodies. just thought i would share the wealth. i am sure more cars were gonna show up but i couldn't stay for long.

Went to Va Beach this past weekend after the F-Body Shootout @ MIR. Had a blast wish I knew some of the locals there.
