Wow... there's a blast from the past! I grew up in Sterling(Rt 28/7)and went to school in Ashburn.... Reston/Vienna/Springfield were old stompin' grounds.... ahhh, the good ol' days.

Left in '97 for Atlanta.... haven't looked back. Snow.... prolonged 20* air in the winter(which "seemed" to last until summer) and the Federalist's "Commonwealth" of Va. was getting to be a little too much.....

What's the hotrod/race car scene like in those areas these days?

There's a lot of cars that look and sound fast, but it's hard to find a race during my hours. I don't hit the spots late at night when most of the street racing occurs any more.

I saw a black Mustang in Leesburg yesterday that sounded pretty damn good, but he was headed the other way. I revved at him with the cutout open.

the formula you saw, was it black with goldish stripes that turn purple at different angles and welds? the video is on ls1tech videos. i will definitely be at super chevy, i have been going for the past 10 years now. i doubt that i will run my car though, its so damn expensive. like $50 or something.

anyone going to Warsaw from the hampton roads area? Me and a couple of guys are meeting at Greenbrier probably around 8am, then meeting up with more guys around 9 in Yorktown!! The more the marrier!
