Default Open to Craig & Josh...

I agree with badjuju's decision to close the other thread but I just have to respond to Josh's post(distortion 69), Josh please tell me which of any of these statements are not true:

1. 1st time I ever met you it was when I got you a slave cylinder at my cost.

2. As far as that phucked up rear end your brought us, that YOU had previously tried to fix,we told you that the axles's were scored and most likely they would leak again after we put new bearings and seals in it ONLY, which cost me 15 dollars more out of my own pocket then you were man enough to ever repay me,you paid 150 vs the 175 in PARTS ONLY, it cost me

3. I respected Craig's abaility as a tech in progress to even offer him a job

4. And I know I hit a sore point with you in the buyer feedback section by bringing up the money you owed me,cause it was basically pot calling kettle black... live with it

As far as the times you mention about our cars as far as myself, I bought my 02 SS for 2 reasons, one to own the last in the line of an ICON, and also I wanted to be able to give this car to my son as a gift to him on his 16th birthaday and to have a little fun with it in the meantime, thats why in almost 4 years it has a little over 20K on it,it will still smell like new when he gets it

My post was just a lite jab about something that happened about a year ago, sorry you got your panties in a twist about it

No big deal Ken.. I rarely get upset about anything or taking anything too personally. It's hard to imagine that I would be arguing with somebody who did give me the slave cylinder at cost just a year later. I typically think of you as a standup guy. In fact, I did not care about the post much at all.. my response was true with nothing personal in the other thread. I even offered to paypal you the cash.

The axle seals were not previously repaired by me or anybody we know.. I bought the car used.. We never even touched the rearend.. in fact craig had never even touched a rearend on the insides until he did my moms 4.10 gears in her lt1 (which are still in tact 20k-30k later with no whine.. don't ask me how). I donno where this misconception arose. Don't really care, but I don't even have the car anymore.. so it's not very important. Futral got the seals for such a cheap price, that I was just in awe and considering pm'ing you the part #'s for future reference for the stuff we used.

It may be a jab, but the jab just so happens to come everytime somebody needs something done. What would you think if everytime you posted to pm you I said something negative about the axle seals? I didn't even bother to tell you, because I know you guys did the best you could do with what was available. And thats all you can really ask for out of somebody working on your car is that they respect your car, and do the best they can do.. ya know?

It is more about the scaring away potential people to help Craig make some money situation. Jason had mentioned that should he feel sorry? I say no.. he shouldn't.. but should his opportunities be sabotaged? I would say no.

I have no problem being completely cool with you guys, and would be glad to see you if I go to the shootout and hope that your cars meet your goals.

Have a good night,
Josh

Ken, I really thought of you as a nice guy, I mean you offered me a job(btw it'd be way to far of a drive..) and everything and seem like a really cool guy but can you let that rag situation go? I mean damn, obviously if I was shitty at being a mechanic I wouldn't have repeat customers.. It was a mistake that I fixed and worked out with Justin. I'm sure Justin will chime in and agree.

Jason ,
What the f**k are you talking about 1-2k of tools? You mean the white bucket with about 100 bucks worth of tools, a jack, and 2 stands that lorne loaned alex so I could do his clutch install in alex's driveway... Which ended up happening at my house and alex left the tools in my garage and they ended up staying there because he didn't want to come back and get them. In which it is not my responsibilty to return because I never borrowed anything. That would be lorne that borrowed them from you, so you can go get on his *** about this. Being the nice guy I am though I went out of my way to take EVERY tool that was there back to lorne when I bought his engine hoist.

As far as trying to make people feel sorry for me? What the hell are you talking about? That is the LAST thing I want people to feel about me. I want them to know me as a good mechanic with good prices. That which I am..

For your shotty *** times at the track.. Who cares if you were on street tires? Ever heard of the quote "Run what you brung" ?? I know plenty about it so I will talk **** all I want. I mean damn, you were talking mad **** about Thackers dyno numbers and it was a "just fuggin around" dyno. Only bolt on being headers/lid and a decent mail order tune. I guess we will see how your car holds up at the track on sunday. Yes, I will more than likely be there. Btw I think letzrun's trans am is going to trap a little higher than 120 here shortly

And for your reputation? Who ever said you didn't have one and that you guys never did good work? I think of ken as a good mechanic as well as you. I just think that you are really a ***** and I would never want to deal with you if I was a customer. I'm sure everyone reading this thread will see it also....

Peace,
Craig

You both know what tools im talking about. But hey...just shows what kinda people you are.

As far as Thackers dyno #'s....only time i ever saw it was after you guys put the cam and boltons on it. Although he still had the LS1 intake on it. Low numbers....so what. not every car is a dyno queen.

But lets talk about Alex's car that you installed a FM11 cam, boltons and "tuned" for him.....what did it pull? 343RWHP. gimme a fuggin break. My 00 headers/exhaust/int auto on a STOCK tune did 347. Good job

Yeah i was on street tires running shitty times at a shitty track. beats sitting in the stands watching while everyone else is having all the fun.

Ya know..i would much rather be a ***** than a thief any day. And the ramblings of a kid dont bother me at all. I now understand why ya'll get along with Thacker so easy. 3 peas in a pod.

WTF!? I just told you what tools you were talking about and explained everything that you are lying about!! Did you just completely miss my post?? WTF do you mean what kinda people we are? Your a ***** and if you say i stole your tools then your a f'in liar easy enough.
Alex's car made 343rwhp with 120kmiles and had been drove on the stock tune for over 6 months. It was blowing blue smoke on the dyno. He did end up getting a ls6 intake and a tune 2 weeks later and made 375rwhp and has ran 11.97@117.

Thackers car btw really didn't dyno all that low, 375rwhp through a 12 bolt. With a ls6 intake, pulley, and a dyno tune it was good for an easy 400rwhp. Not to mention his car et'd VERY well for the power...

I'd bother giving you details.. but alex's tune basically consisted of cutting out the codes, disabling the misfire thing, and raising the rev limiter.. I'll be glad to get him on here to testify that you have no ******* clue what your talking about.

If that was $1000 worth of tools, my **** is 20 inches long.. and they weren't stolen.. like craig said.. the clutch was done at our house.. the reason the tools were borrowed was because we were going to do it at alex's, but his dad threw a fit..

Peace,
Josh

Look guys , I ain't trying to be a hardnose and I can't blame anyone for trying to make a buck. What I am saying is whatever is going on between you all , it doesn't belong here. I just want to keep this forum peaceful ,that's all. I don't have any animosity towards anyone and all of you seem like pretty good dudes. It's a shame that you are not on good terms but that's none of my business. All I'm asking is would you take this whole thing to PMs please?

You guys can look back in your pm's and see that I had pm'ed Ken and BLKWS6 for a cam install, and ended up taking mine to Craig instead. Know why? He wasnt an *******. After taking it there I couldnt have been more happy, rag and all. I'd go back to him anyday and I recommend all my friends take their stuff to him as well. You guys (Ken and Jason) take pride in posting **** about other people on forums and that says alot about your character. As for your mechanic work, I couldnt give a **** because you'll never touch my car.
