How strict are they? Car is gonna be slow probably, 12s. Will they harass me about a blowdown tube, if the bottle is in spare tire well and they cant see it? Thats about the only thing I think i'd get dinged for.

not sure. the tech changes everytime i have been up there. But you prolly should put one in just for safety reasons.

Seems like they don't usually get to detailed. They've NEVER creawled on the ground to check my DSSL. They're looking for the obvious stuff first. Helmet, battery hold down, decent tires, no leaks etc, but once you make a decent pass, they tend to "re-eveluate" your equipment(or lack thereof).

You may get through tech w/the don't ask don't tell plan, but if you go 11.99 or quicker w/out a cage, harness, ddsl, blow down, legal wheel studs etc., you will be asked to leave. Just ask Craig..... his 11.0@124 got him excused for the night(even though it was the end of the night).

they usually just check battery and lugnuts simple stuff, I have never run nitrous up there so i don't know if they check the bottle?

I'm not sure. I can't remember. But once they see those nitrous lines under the hood, they'll know you have it.

Yeah, the tech asked me if I had a purge. I said, "don't you mean a blowdown tube?"

It's in the spare tire well but the cover was off and I showed it to him because I didn't want to make a second trip back to tech.
