Default Atlanta Emissions ?!?!

I have to get emissions done this month on my '02 car. (I have insurance on the '94, but not registered it) I keep getting a map sensor code every so often (0106) which I keep deleting with my Crane programmer. If I show up there and he plugs in the computer and there is no SES light on, will I pass?

Please no guessing, if your are confident you know the answer please respond. Thanks.

Thanks for the info! I just got it started last night. I still have to make a good block off plate for the egr hole on the Weiand intake and put the minor stuff back on like the plastic cowl, etc. I'll give SS Rally a call. Thanks.

I've changed my map sensor and that didn't fix it. My friend who has a monster cam also has the same issue. The code appears after 100-150 miles of driving. It's random.

You have HP tuners. Is that how you turn it off? There might be a lil' $ in your future...

wow.. also.. i checked on a stock tune file, and the 0106 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) System Performance code is set to 3. No error reported and SES is off. Thats kinda strange.

107 MAP Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
108 MAP Sensor Circuit High Voltage

Are the only 2 MAP sensors that have the SES light enabled.

Anyone else have any ideas?

EDIT--- I found out the problem, operator error. LOL. The stock tune file I was looking at was a 99.. they must have been disable on that year. When I checked a stock 02 one, the light and error reporting is on for that error. We can turn it off no problem.

Not all tests. Only the outlying counties in and around Atlanta. As far as I know those are the only that test, unless some other city elsewhere does.
