We have a few guys in our club in Columbus with some 05's. Our last sonic meeting we had 4 05 GTO's. We've got another guy with an 04 too. If you want to lust after even more, take a look under the hood and see how easy it is to change the plugs compared to the fbody.

The grand prix front end and the honda accord *** end does not inspire me.. ..as a matter of fact that is what I would call the styling uninspiring..beside being overweight..nice interior is the only posiitive to me..GM thought that they could slap a gto decal on the thing and it would sell like hot cakes..not hardly..if you want one there are great deals available ..gto sales are like the car..uninspiring...another GM blunder..they have been running neck and neck with the new rustang at the track...14 second cars..at least the rustang is priced in the mid $20's... vs the gto in the mid $30's..

I looked at one that was $10,000 off list, it was a demo driven by the owner of the dealership, had less than 4,000 miles...
I really wanted to like it, but it was so non-descript, kind of like an Accord / Grand Am with a better motor.
No real personality or attitude, sort of a corporate yuppie-mobile....certainly not my idea of a muscle car, and even less in the heritage of the GTO I remember from my early years.
All told, probably a pretty cool car for someone, just not me - I'm not sure they should even call it a GTO...

I owned a GTO for a while. I thought the looks were decent.. understated. It was more like owning a BMW than a GM product. It was quiet, quick, handled well and rode smooth. I would definately buy one again for a daily driver, but its weight does get annoying for something to mod. There are a few things you can do to drop the weight 100lbs without sacrificing anything, for what its worth though.
Good Luck,

It needs to drop 600 pounds not 100 pounds..and either one is a mud duck..they both look like Jenet Reno.. ..GM needs to hire someone who can design a car that looks like it's a badass..the fourth Gen F bodys were great..let us see more of that good styling in the future..most of their recent attempts have sucked

i do have to agree w/ you on this one. i loved the 92 and the 98+ f-bodies. GM needs to hire some younger folks and get away from this box crap. I like the new F-body that is susposed to be comming out but I think it could still use some work. If no one has seen it, try and find a pic of it.
