Last one I had worked I took to engine rebuilders in Trussville. They are located off hwy 11 close to deer foot. They did a really good job for a good price. & Turn around time wasnt long either.

bo,this scott brooks,I tried northport machine and left my block there for almost a month to find out what I needed as far as parts and they never did anything.I finally just went and picked it back up.i wasn't in a rush or did I rush them,but almost a month just to mic the bores and crank is kinda slow...

Verdad Gallardo Haha, OK- screen name makes sence . You have to tell em that you need it like yesterday or you will be put behind everyone that comes in telling them they need it done yesterday 
. I will say they take special care of their regulars but will knock stuff out fairly quickly for new people if they tell em they need it asap. Most busy shops are like this. So was that LS1 block yours that was beside the line bore machine a few weeks ago? Ill run by the shop and holla at ya
