Gauging interest:SBC with mustang hatch Well im just gauging interest in the possible sale of a 406ci SBC. I also have an 85 mustang hatchback, 8 point cage, lakewood suspension, subframe connectors, 8.8 with spool and 3.73's. We were going to transplant the motor over into this car but i may go another route (may buy another GN). I also have a MSD Digital 6 Ignition system, 2 new RJC racing seats....lots of extra's willing to let go if someone buys everything as a package deal.
As for the motor it is a sb 406, all Eagle internals, Comp Cams solid roller cam and lifters, Pro-Topline 200cc runner's..ported and bowl blended..2.02/1.65 with K-motion springs, Team G intake, Harland Sharp roller rockers,Holley street avenger carb, and Fluid type balancer. This motor was built by Gerald Dyer of Dyer Racing Engines and has less than 100 miles on it. Motor runs VERY strong. Never got it on the chassis dyno when it was in my 75 Camaro before i ripped the rear-end out and twisted the body(started tearing above the doors). Also have a TH350 with never mounted 2800 converter.
If i dont get any serious or pleasing offers we'll just finish it up but ive been bitten by the turbo buick bug and im realy interested in building one up.
