Ticket Question

I pulled onto 85 at ext 111, and got off on 985 exit 4, and then i get pulled over. Cop asked if I knew the speedlimit. I said 70, he asked if i knew how fast i was going, i said probably 75-80. He says no 95. Then he reaches in the car and turns on the turn signals and asked if i know what they are because i didnt use them when i changed lanes on the freeway. It was 4:15 am and I was the only one within sight prettymuch. I guess he got on at exit 111 after me, but I floored it from the onramp and hit 95, so by the time i was on the freeway he was a good 1/2 mile behind me or so. since there were no cars thats why i didnt use my turn signals. Anyways he comes back and writes me a ticket for not using my turn signals. Said he wouldnt write me for speeding because I was the only car on the road. I didnt just swerve over 5 lanes, i paused for a while in each lane on my way over. just to go from the entrance lane, to the fast lane, and then back when my exit was there.

I know i deserved the ticket I guess. I did do the crime, but i'm just wondering if its worth it to argue it since i was the only car on the road, or if i fight it will he write me a speeding ticket also?

This is my first ticket ever, guess it was about time.

The ticket for not using turn signals should'nt be too bad. I would just go ahead and pay for it. Sometimes when you don't use your turn signals they get you for aggressive driving which is not a good thing to have on your record. Iv'e known a few people who have gotten this only because they were not using there turn signals, I'd say your were pretty lucky. Good luck though.

I would just pay the ticket. It probably won't be worth fighting it. Your "supposed" to use your turn signals whether your the only car on the road or not...your not in trouble till you get caught.
