Default SAT scores in

Coulda done better, but ended up with a 1755/2400 which equates to a 1170/1600. Also decided that I'm going local my first 2 years and then going somewhere else for Bachelors/masters. Oh well, now I can focus on other crap.

yea, i have no extra-activities... the less high school time the better haha. Yea Sean, its about 5 mins from my house if that, so that means 2 extra years of living @ home for free. I'll have an LS1 car in no-time haha! And Roy... GT isnt looking too promising due to the cost of tuition. Hope has officially f**ed me over with the GPA standard and AP rule now. It's a bunch of bs. So more-than-likely SoPol, or dare I say it... UGA :O

That's a decent score, you should have some options with that.

The thing is, if you go to a local school for the first few years, your transfer options will probably depend just as much on how well you do there than your sat score.

If he transfers in from another school, his SAT scores won't matter at all. They won't even look at them. His GPA at the school will be what they look at. If you're still going to Georgia Tech David, getting in is not hard at all....its staying there that is tough. You could always go to that joke of a school down in Athens if you don't feel like doing putting any effort into your studies and still want to graduate with honors

This is what I was saying. I'll obtain an assc. degree @ Perimeter, so the next school will only focus on college grades. It makes a huuuge difference and is a lot easier doing that. Right now I'm aiming for Southern Polytech

For those of you bashing UGA as being a joke school and easy to get in to, here are the statistics for this years Freshman class: average High school GPA of 3.75/4.0 and a 1242 SAT. That is the average! Don't believe me, here's the link:
http://www.admissions.uga.edu/2_fy_classprofile.html

GA Tech Averages:
High School GPA 3.75
SAT 1337
http://www.gatech.edu/news-room/release.php?id=262

The classes at UGA are not as easy as you think. It really depends on your major, but that's the case with any school.
