I'm pricing tires trying not to spend a grand on a set. Trying to figure out where I'm gonna have them mounted/balanced. I don't want some half-*** shop scratching the **** out of the lips before I even get them on the car.

I have no idea about the tire size on these either. 18 x 8.5 front and 18 x 9.5 rear...any idea what sizes to run on those?

What shifter did you order? You dont need a trans tunnel mount, I used the TNT ones for mine and had it mounted between the back seats. You just gota use spacers on the front bracket so it will sit up in the front.

Id go with a 245/40/18 on the front and a 275/40/18 or 285/35/18 on the rear. I have 295/35/18 on my rears and they are 10.5in or 11in I cant remember.

I picked up a stock, short-throw hurst with less than 5k miles on it for $40. the springs are worn out bad in mine. You can move out from between 3-4 in neutral and it will stay right or left.

I've got a project for you one day you get free. I need some led's replaced in my interior. The lights behind my headlight switch and some of the steering wheel controls are out.

Dont forget I need to pull a couple degrees of timing before you run off and start spraying like your impatient brother..

LOL I'm not gonna spray it until it hits the dyno. I'm gonna wait around and see if Blake finds a new place before I go off to the one Josh went to.

Liar, I saw that nice little LED tag light you made for Josh's SS

That Tick performance Master seems like a good buy since you'd never have to replace it. A little pricey though. I'm thinking about giving it a shot when I go ripping into the trans to have it freshened up.

You got lucky finding a good motor at pull a part. I've heard alot of stories about them being blown up most of the time.

I need to find a deal like that, but with my luck it would prob have a broke rod or something like that.

Hey my last corollas hood blew off one morning to work at like 5:30am on hwy 280. Luckily it didn't hit a car but I just rode on into work without it and drove for liek 2 weeks without a hood. Then went to pull a part and jacked a whole front end off of one up there.

What are you getting done at Jeff's? Anything new or are you just getting the exhaust ran from where you sold the CME?

You could always get him to build the GMMG while youre there...you know you want to lol.

No the motor came from car-part.com from a junkyard in anniston with 14,XXXmi on it. The wheels came from pull a part. It was like $60 for all four with tires lol..

Im just going to order a mastercylinder from rockauto.com (Acdelco for $67)

yeah screw that place josh went, Hes an idiot. Theres a dyno between roebuck and downtown on 1st ave that Ive used a couple times.

I got new tips and I need new pipe coming from the muffler to each tip. I would but Jeffs is high now and after the time I paid $280 from a pair of mufflers and jeff $200 to build it Id be better off just ordering the real deal. Ill just stick to the hooker with quad tips for a while since I never drive it anyways. Plus I need to have the rear bumper repainted now since the double sided tape pulled some of the clear/paint off.

I LOVED the way my TD's dumped sounded at WOT.. It was just too loud with the TH350 and big stall. So I sold it and now I have to buy 2 chambered mufflers from Sweet Thunder for like $70 ea and then have Jeff's put it together.

Sweet thunder isnt going to sound the same as the GMMG. The GMMG uses the stainless works chamber mufflers. http://www.stainlessworks.net/cart/p...roducts_id=636

Me and 2k1bird have been talking about doing this for years. Neither has had the marbles or cash to throw away at trying it. Ill hit the woman up this afternoon and if she'll buy the mufflers Ill do it sat.

Like you said, you could just buy the GMMG by the time you had it made. I saw one in the for sale section a couple of days ago for $350. I can't believe someone would sell it for that, unless it was hacked up. Even then all it takes is a couple of welds...

Ya it may not sound exactly like that GMMG but close enough for me and cheaper as well.. Im also doing true duals and not a Y-pipe so thats also something different from GMMG. I just dont want something abnoxiously loud.

Damn, wish I wouldve seen that. I got $750 for the CME tips and valance only.. Id also sell my electric cutout if I had GMMG.

Speaking of mini bike did Gibson tell you he almost got the nuts to jump that big triple I made into a double but at the last sec decided he was going fast enough or something and ended up smacking a tree? It was pretty funny
