Ill give him a call in a bit. Thats not bad. Do they not make a crossmember that you can keep the stock TA? Thats the way mine is, the crossmember had the mount for the TA instead of the trans. Just a thought. Theres another thread in the southern section where a guy completed the th350 swap have you seen it?

Ya i just read it, ya i think im gonna go with the BMR Crossmember witht he TA reloc. and i think i can use the stock torque arm with it but i need to call them and make sure. Also i will still use my stock flexplate. But i have to buy a shifter and the speedo sensor from rossler. Gahh money money money.. Im debating on whether to put 3.73's in their or not bc i still drive the car for fun on weekends.

its got 3.23's right now which is stock for my car, but a move to 3.42's wouldn't even be worth the change i think. I forgot to call that guy last nite about the tranny but ill call him 2nite to ask one more time if hes gunna sale it or what. Bc im not waiting forever bc ive got money right now to get everything done. Im bout to buy everything i need and start getting the tranny rebuilt and stuff.

Ok, talked to my dad and he said the trans and converter he'll take $200 for. The trans works good just has a lazy 2-3 shift, I was thinking it was 1-2 but he said no it was 2-3. Not sure of the brand of converter, id have to look at it and see. Its been in my shop for about 3 yrs now. Let me know if you want it.

BJ, that sucks! I never mentioned it before but in my shop we have a TH350 that has a lazy 1-2 shift and has a 3500 stall with it. Its my dads, but I know at one time he said he'd sell it. We built a 77 vette with a 383 stroker that it used to be in, he reomved it and put a th400 in its place so now this one jsut sits here. If interested let me know and Ill go talk to him about it.

Was it worth going to the track Sunday? I backed out of going b/c I had a meeting at work that afternoon, but I'm ready to at least watch some racing even if I don't run the T/A. I'm happy with it now...don't know when the mod bug will bite and I start sinking money into it again. I really need to invest in some wheels and drag radials sometime in the near future.

When I finish up some projects around here and some college stuff I may go break the bank and buy some fikse or CCWs. I really don't want something that everyone else in town has. I just don't think a set of wheels is worth $3k

LOL yeah, it should be a 7.7 sec car. What happened was, my bottle warmer had a bad ground, and wouldnt work so i couldnt heat my bottle up. So i decided to do a all motor run. Well the wiring on my activation switch was bad, so it was always on, no matter if the switch was on or not. So when i went to run, as soon as i went WOT, it started dumping fuel into the intake............. So as soon as it stared loading up, i let off of it. Im lucky i didnt have a backfire....

That wasn't mine, I was over there talking to them though. Mine is silver, my best so far
was in the 8.40's in the 1/8th. I rode with the father-in-law and I didn't have my car up
there. Will probably be at steele either sat. or sun.
