Nc and Turbo??

So I am moving to nc...Is there any way to turbo my 02 WS6 and keep it emissions legal???

Yes with the computer tuned right and can pass a visual inspection. Their are some turbo guys around here.

How exactally would i pass visual with the AIR stuff off?

they hardly ever do a visual inspection where i go if they did i would never pass

CIN motorsports will be building me a custom kit maybe twin rear mounts or single front mounted

Yeah if it passes a scan. Then they probably won't even think anything about it. And unless they own an f-body I doubt they know if it has emission stuff. I mean every car is different and has different types of emissions equipment.

Like someone said earlier it's doubtful that they even look. Or you can find one that is a car guy, and just become friends with them.

I honestly don't think half of them know what they are even looking at! I know some shops in the area that don't know the difference between cats and resonators.(I know this from experiance).

You may have nothing to worry about. Many smaller counties do not have emission checks as part of the inspection process. Every county west of Asheville doesn't have one. All the larger cities and counties, Charlotte, Raleigh, etc have them.
