Barn full 'a a$$holes over there...
Some guys may have had a good deal with 'em, but I've had a rude experience when it should have been nowhere near that point. ******' dicks.

If you're willing to drive a little bit my uncle owns a shop in Augusta, GA called Augusta Transmission Clinic. They specialize more in automatic transmissions and use quality parts along with only Precision Torque Converters (not Precision Industries).

If that's your goal I wouldn't be looking at 4l60e's.

It's a 6 litre with an F1 R at 15lbs appx.
The only reason I wanted to stay with the 4l60e is that it is not strictly a strip car. I do not go to the strip that much. We like to go cruising and car show's alot. The strip on occasions. I know it is not the perfect match for hp combo but "hopefully" it would stay together for what we want to do.

Yeah, I think Jerry went through (6) 4l60's before he made the jump to the 80.
If you put a power adder on your car... the 4l60 may not last a single run. They completely "give up" once you get to a certain hp/tq level.... and that limit is around 500rwhp.... much less 700+ ~Joshua

It's funny, I went over to see if some of my friend's were at there shop today and saw a white convertable ta over there. The tag said "incontt". Imagine that. That car is "awesome". You would never know it has twin tubo's by listening to it. Anyway we talked about the transmission stuff so I will be going with the 4l80e. I do not want to be swapping out transmission's every other week.

^^^ yeah, I love those Incons. I've got the same kit as Jerry.
Just got done driving it actually. A 20 something year old G35 driver had no idea what he was playing with until I murdered 2nd gear and he heard the blow off. When he went by again he was staring at me pretty hard.

A blower has to work with whatever rpm pulley that's bolted to it. If you have a cam that bleeds away whatever boost is made from a given rpm range, then you come out behind...
The turbo will build full boost (whatever psi it's set for) at a much lower rpm than a supercharger so that has an effect also on cam selection.
