Goat Troubles
Those of you who haven't talked to me lately prolly have no idea what's been going on...
Well I've been fighting with the stealership because I currently have two fron tires with wire showing on the inside inch of tread from the tires rubbing on the struts from the shitty alignment that GM forgot to change when the changed from a 235 to 245 tires when they imported it from Ausie. They're telling me my car is out of alignment and there's nothing they can do about that becasue alignment warranty is only 12m/12k and I'm outside of that. What they don't realize is I know about the 22 unresolved issues they've had filed against them with the NHTSA and that GM Tech Assistance knows what I'm talking about...as soon as I can get it on an alignment machine and have someone tell me that it's within factory specs, me and the shop foreman will be having a little meeting.
On the way to the dealership though, Crystal was following me to give me a ride back, and at a stopsign we we're inching forward and her foot slipped the peddle and she gave me a little love tap. At first inspection I thought everything was ok. No visual damage, no paint scratches, nothing...so we drove on to the dealership and went through all of their B.S. and when I got the car back I was so pissed off at the dealership that I popped the two front tires off...Getting the jack out was the biggest battle I had ever had with a car in my life....The carpet cove was caught under a body panel so I end up having to fight to get it out, then the spare tire bolt is on so tight I have to use a screwdriver as a pry bar because I can't even turn it by hand, then the tire is stuck in there...so I yank it out...Jack the car up, and Crystal comes out to check up on me, see how everything is going, and I hear "uhhh...honey, how closely did you look at this?" Turns out the bumper was out of alignment by about 1/4--1/2in at the passanger side body line where it meets the fender, the trunk won't latch, the rear wall of the trunk is effed up (explains the tire situation) and yeah....
I'm not pissed about any of the rear-ending crap...I realize ***** happens, you take care of it, move on, and get over it...It's just been a rough couple days with the goat lately.
Stock suspension will be replaced with a full Pedders system by SCCA T2 GTO racer Chris Brannen once I save up the money...

Everyone has the problem with their goats...the dealership seems to do nothing about it...sure the car handles great, but at the cost of eating through the tires, which most people will be willing to sacrifice a little bit of handeling for being able to put more than 10k on a set of tires.
They have revised alignment settings but no one seems to know about them...I'm going to fight with the dealership once I get my car back from the body shop.
