How much can you advance the timing w/o hurting the engine on stock cold air intake and exhaust?

On rare occasions I've seen some that would run at 31*, but most run in between 24* and 28*. There is a point were more timing is not making any more power even though its not getting Knock Retard, its just making more heat. I ran Tan327's truck at the track with 29* and 31* and there was no difference in E.T. what so ever, actually I think it trapped a half MPH higher with the lower timing.

Just need a little tweaking. The car's A/F is not on optimum level. Should be able to squeeze few more horsies.
