Christmas thread

figured I'd post a thread just to talk about Christmas and activities you got planned etc.

I got the Xmas music channel on Comcast this morning and of course they all have that trivia stuff on the screen.....ex
Alabama was the first state to make Christmas a legal holiday..in 1836

7 states have a town named Bethlehem...Ga is one of them.

I know my wife is getting me clothes because I asked for them.....otherwise I will wear the same jeans...t-shirts..socks and "draws" until they are worn out. I will prolly get some work gloves from Summit and bunch of gummy bears in my stocking.
My wife already bought some Vic. Secrets stuff and told me to give her the money for it as thats what I am buying her for Xmas

I also got her a VS gift card....couple of bottles of wine from Italy and a monogramed disney blanket...dunno what else. I will get her gummies and candy corn for her stocking. Prolly a few other little things....she likes to get little stuff that took time to think of.

What about you peeps? I am not a religious person but I do like the holiday and the music....too bad its frikin 70 degrees today!!! We are saving money on Xmas gifts to each other and are gonna go buy a bunch of decorations day after Xmas when they are all on sale!!!!

A small group of us racing fanatics in Oxford are having our Christmas dinner tonight. We tend to do that rather than spend money on each other. Of course us close girls are like sisters so we still buy each other gifts.

I've managed to finish all of my Christmas shopping except one person. I can't post what Dad is getting because he frequents this board! Mom is getting clothes (what she requested). I wanted car parts (the stall, trans cooler, intake and ported heads) but Dad informed me I couldn't have anymore parts until his WS6 is done.

My yard is FULL of Christmas lights, enough to make Alabama Power love me. So far I haven't gotten burned out on the holiday music.. thanks to me keeping cd's on repeat in the car.

Anyhow, hope everyone's holiday is a great one!

I'm doing the normal family/eating thing here. I've got some of my Christmas shopping done, but it's a little more fun to procrastinate until the last few days so you get to see all the people going crazy trying to find things lol. I'm just praying my car gets done and out of the body shop before Christmas since I've been without it for over 2 months now. That's my Christmas wish for this year. I'll be off to Auburn for college in January, so I've been getting that stuff together too.

This is definitely not winter weather. We even took the targa top out of firefightergib's vette and rode around a couple of days. I guess we won't be getting any snow any time soon, but who knows. Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

We are doing the same thing.. We bought each other clothes mostly dirt cheap on black friday. Then I bought her some cookbooks she wanted, an mp3 player, and a kennel for our dogs. But we are going out on a mission after christmas.. We want a 12 foot tree, and a ton of ornaments and lights and yard decorations.

Ok, pics of the rolex the nurse left on my nightstand Sat, (coming up tonight when I can get to my home pc in my old apartment, -my new one doesn't have internet yet-) I can't get my cell pics of the "perfect ***" of a 19 old all day Sunday. But I'll take pics of the new "screensaver" on my cell phone.

Or.... any person that has a cell that can accept cell pics let me know via text message or pm here and I'll send you.... hots hots, -money shot-, and pics of the rolex/goods.....

Yes that is the program..3 in the rotation and auditions for the rotation are always available...actually the rotation has been trimed down to only 2 at this time..had to cut one loose...it was sad because she was a very talented individual..but crazy

is crazy

and she owned a pistol too and practiced regularly.. nuff said there..no use in tempting fate at this late date...

My wifes wine from Italy got here today. I set the box under a box of lifters I just got. I GUARANTEE you she will tell me to take all my car **** out to the garage and not even notice. I got my daughters flat screen monitor sitting in the garage in the box right by the door...here thought process is "in garage...car stuff...no care" We got my daughter cirque du soleil tickets (they come via email) and I had my wife change the date to 2 weeks later and crappy seats...she will be surprised for sure when we actually go!!!
