Default UGA loses great player

well when they play Tech

Georgia Tech senior quarterback Reggie Ball and

cornerback Kenny Scott have been ruled academically ineligible for

the Gator Bowl.

Coach Chan Gailey said tonight that he learned Ball failed to

meet the academic standards earlier today. Gailey said he talked to

Scott earlier this week.

He said backup quarterback Taylor Bennett would start against

West Virginia in the Gator Bowl game January 1st in Jacksonville.

The coach said Jahi Word-Daniels would fill the spot at cornerback.

Ball passed for 18-hunedred and 20 yards this season while

starting every game. He threw for 20 touchdowns and was intercepted

14 times. He was criticized for inconsistency, especially after

Tech's offense sputtered in a regular season-ending loss to Georgia

and a loss to Wake Forest in the Atlantic Coast Conference

championship game.

I watched that moment in shovk and utter disbelief. I am suprised he stayed elligible all the years he has. About one of the dumbest bastards I have ever seen in my life. It is ok though cause my Mountaineers are gonna spank that *** no matter who plays for GT. They are gonna wrap up the state of georgia sweep in back to back years.

WVG will be like Rodney Dangerfield as long as they play in that weak *** conference..they aint getting NO RESPECT .. when Louisville and WVA played on TV on a thursday night I was sitting there thinking that there was no way in the world that these were the third and fifth best teams in the country.. .. that was a joke...it was sort of intertaining with all of the scoring..but there was no defense at all..the big east suxs.. and Rutgers..there is another joke..

That powerhouse SEC conference sure was fun to watch this year :jerkit: Loved watching UF play Arkansas for the championship, that was one for the ages. Id be bitter too if I had my *** walked all over by a bunch of couch burning hillbillies and then getting drug the entire following season. WVU finished runner up quite a few times when the conference included Miami. Have fun watching the chick fil a bowl

If wva, louisville, or the that monster program Rutgers played in the sec they would be about 6-5 teams..I dont know what your smoking but quit bogarting it and please pass it over to me... ..walked all over ... you know and I both know that if that game had lasted 3 minutes longer the out come would have been different..I'm not bitter about anything..you won fair and square..but the big east is a joke you know it and I know it..or should I say you might not know it right now but in a couple of hours when the smoke wears off youll be back in reality and know it..

If/then hypothesis statements should be left in the science classroom because there is no room for them in college football. UGA got the same amount of time to win the game as everyone else. Since you are worried about the amount of time played, what would you say if they ended the game after the first quarter?? How many touchdowns was UGA down at that point? I am almost positive that if WVU played in the SEC this year they would have faired much better than 6-5, they would not have struggled with the UK, Vandy, UT, Ole Miss powerhouse opponents. UGA blew big fat **** this year, it is ok to admit it. They were young and are a team of the future and blah blah blah, but who cares about next season the most??? The teams that sucked this season. I will put WVU up against any team in the nation and still like the odds of it being a close match

had lasted 3 minutes longer the out come would have been different..
you're right again dumbass, wish i had a dollar for every time you use that statement. lets see 1st and 10 on your 40, since you couldn't stop the punter. ......probably another 7 for wvu.
last year is over and gone
i don't like vt, but they're gonna make it 2 in a row for uga.(in the loss column anyway)
and i don't think anyone in the sec should be making an argument about the sec being the best conf. this year either. florida and lsu, top 10 maybe. i don't think those 2 teams make up the whole sec though.
you don't honestly think ua, arkansas, bama, or these other cupcake teams could beat wvu this year do you?

even worse news for you

wvu will be back for a run at a national championship again next year, so eat a dick.

didnt west virgina lose to south flordia? Yeah theres a quality loss right there. West Virgina woulda faired better than 6-6 in the SEC. They woulda been 7-5 if they were in the east and played ole miss and miss st. as their western opponents.
