I drove over to Fort Worth Friday and picked up my roll bar from Wolfe Craft. Now I need to get it welded in before the 10th. Guest I will start taking out the seats and carpet tomorrow. Still have yank ss 4000 stall, cam and lifters laying on the floor, don't know what valve springs and rods to get. Any suggestions, I've already got ARP 134-3609 head bolt kit.

I just finished getting all the BS stuff out of the way so tomorrow all I have to do is just unbolt and drop the rear and tranny. I don't know if I want to take my tranny myself to T56rebuilds or ship it. I think shipping would take longer. Just making that long of a trip by myself being bored is what I don't want to do.

More like murdered the tranny lol. First it was the 3-4 fork. Then the synchros. And I went and drove it one last time to the track to watch some friends before I tore it down this weeked and it dropped 2-3-4. I had to shift from 1-5. Luckily it happened about a mile from the house so I was able to limp it home.
We are meeting at Red River Raceway it's in Giliam (sp?) La. Just north of shreveport on Hwy 71. Gates open at noon and it will be open all day on March 17th. If I can't run I'm definately bringing a camcorder.

Take my advice and don't buy a Locker. I had a locker in my car a few years ago and believe me, it ruins your car. It makes your car want to do all kinds of stupid stuff. You are better off with a spool than a locker in a 6 speed car. That was the biggest mistake I have made with this car. Now I can deal with alot when it comes to driving a "race car" but I couldn't deal with that.
My spooled setup feels much more driver friendly

Well I was always told not to use a spool on the street which is why I chose the locker over the spool and limited slip posi. Of course I have been thinking of the spool because of strength. I haven't ordered anything yet so any input from anybody is encouraged.

Yeah, I think I'll go with the spool. On a separate note, this damn tranny is whoopin my ***. It's kinda hard to do by yourself. It sucks when all your friends get girlfriends. If they'd all get married I'd have all the help I need right now

I'd rather have a spool in the rain over a locker! Lockers are to unpredictable. Mine wanted to do something different everytime you get in and out of the throttle.
I hate pulling that 6 out by myself.

finally got it somewhat out still have to take the slave out. My help left me when we got to that point so I have to wait until in the morning. His girlfriend called and he left. Go figure.

Yeah two bolts and I'm off to houston. I talked to Amber @ T56 rebuilds and she told me she would bring it with them to Thunder racing on thursday so I should have it in this weekend if my clutch and everything comes in on time.

Chris and Juicedls1, how is the spool on the street? I don't drive mine everyday, but I drive it on the street more than I do on the track. I need to know before I order.
