Default tci turbo 400 with brake!for sale

i have a turbo 400 built by tci with a trans brake and upgraded parts i want to get rid of.i had it built to go in a prostreet drag car but i never used it.i used a linco instead.so i just want to make room in the shop.it was built to go in a 3400 lbs car with just over 800 whp.it is tubed and narrowed with 33x16 slicks.so it is'nt a wimpy trans cost 3k to have built lookin for offers.

kinda a toss up on something like this.. TCI has let me down severly on tranny's lasting with any HP.... but it could be great in a low hp street car...

what hard parts are in the transmission ?

i built it 3 years ago and never used it.i dont remember what parts were used all i can tell u is it was built to perform.after all i did pay 3g's to have it built.i have many cars that were built and run tci tranny's with no probs.in fact i sold the linco and installed another th400 tci tranny in it's place and it runs very strong. with 2 years of abuse launchin at 6200 and pulling consistant .90 60's in a 3400 pound car.they hold very well. only problem i've ever had is with a stall now they come apart regular.in general i mean.

course i had 1150hp at the REAR wheels... tci sent me 8 converters.. none were right.. i've destroyed em so bad that they've broke at the welds.. or some just started vibrating..

switched to a kenney ford and have had no problems..

and have run tci on moderate street cars in the 600-700fwhp range and had little to no problems..
