Default What to do in Augusta??

Well, a couple friends and I will be taking a trip to North augusta SC, from florida this weekend. We are planing on staying saturday night somewhere in the area, and I guess augusta GA is the biggest city in the area?
We just want to find a hotel in an area that has something going on saturday nights.

Anyone in the area have any ideas, I'd sure appreciate it...

I don't get to see my friends much, so we want to try and have some fun, maybe find some girls....

Thanks

JD

I grew up there, and still have a lot of family around. Check out Carolina Dragway in Jackson, SC (if they're open). Columbia, SC is pretty big in comparison with Augusta as well, but there aint jack-**** in North Augusta (be warned). Can always go to Clark Hill lake if you feel like freezing your *** off. And of course there's always golf.

Go to the hotels down by the golf course, thats where all the drunk soldiers hang out on the weekends and party. Well at least we did when I was there in 01.

I know that Augusta did have a slot car track a few years back. Dunno if they still do. If so, that can be some good fun.
