Default I need to put my car on a diet

what is the best way to shave some lbs from my ride. Only thing i have done is take the spare tire out, what are my options? 02 SS

If it doesn't make the car go faster, then take it out. I've took everything out of mine I can think of and it still weighs 3350 with me in it on E-towns scales. (Im 175 lbs.)

With some light brakes all around and some different seats I think I can get it down to around 3200 raceweight, but I've already ditched the ac, heat, ps, abs, cruise, audio(including wires), door bars, bumpers, and it has a tubular k-member and a-arms as well as light weight carpet and a pin on hood. No airbags, horn, wipers, washer resevoir, hood hinges or latch, and nothing in the glovebox or console LOL!

I don't know how some guys can get their cars so light!
