Hopefully will be doing some shakedown runs friday. Had some issues with the transmission blowing to a million pieces, now we just need to see if our tire and gear combo is gonna get us through the traps at the right rpm.

If its not enough gear you just have to make more power

out of curiousity why does your 6 speed heads/cam super duper 500 hp bullshit trap lower in the 8th then my heavy *** auto making 465 running consistant 10.3's in decent air

You guys are all pretty funny..
This yera so far I ran,
9.13 @ 148 with a F1A, 75 degrees out last month @ carolina. (5.77 @ 119 1/8)
9.17 @ 149.81 with a D1SC 55 degrees out last week @ SDR. (5.82 @ 119 1/8)
Local guy (sr71 on ths board) went 5.60 @ 125 in his old twin turbo/402 C5 but it was back halfed/4 link. Sold the car though and never made a full 1/4 mile pass.
Another local guy had a white 2000 SS Frutral built with a n/a 417 that ran 6.20s in the 1/8 here which is pretty good at this elevation. It had ran 9.70s in LA, very nicely done car.
Thats about it for fast LS1's around here I know of..
