My wife took that. She's the editor of the local newspaper. As far as March, I'm pretty sure she will be there and it wouldn't be a problem for her take as many pictures as she can. I think we will also have a video camera with us on that also. As far as Sunday's pictures she was a little biased and most of them were of me LOL

I'm also glad I waxed my car last week cause it made it so much easier to get the rubber off the bumper this time.

Hey guys! Josh's wife here. I will be there on the 17th, and my camera will be with me, as always (never know when I'll come up on a fire or other news). I do photography on the side and can take whatever ya'll want. I got a lot of Josh and the other Minden guys Sunday - some awesome burn out pics - so easy with a line lock. I retouch, can post on internet, print, put on CD - just let me know exactly what you want.

Wax what's that? I may just try some of this stuff you call wax. So it goes on the tires to make the rubber come off easier (LOL). Man my car was dirty, a wash and wax is what she needs. What do ya'll think, looks like we had a good turn out. I believe we got us a show for March, but we need someone to give Frank a good race. Low Low 10s that truck is haul'in, lots of 11s & 12s that will make for some good tight runs.

Hopefully lady luck will be on my side and I can come up with the money to get my clutch. I also think I have a Detroit locker in this truck I just picked up, and if I do the stock posi unit on that 10 bolt is coming out. I know it ain't worth it on the 10 bolt, but I figure I'll enjoy it as much as I can until it explodes.

Yeah, I think the show is going to be great. As far as Frank and that fast lightning, I think we should tie a chute to the back of it so we can catch up LOL. I think we'll see some very fast cars on the 17th no doubt. I'm expecting to see some 10 sec. Camaro's and T/A's and alot of 11's and 12's.

I would go to the track about 3 weekends a month back then, TnT on Friday then bracket race on Sat. Lol, I made 51 passes in one weekend, 25 on Friday and 26 on Sat. I use to be hardcore back then. But the Spec 3 is a good one too and much much cheaper.

lilmagto M/T ET Street Radial has one 17 and it is a 275/40R17 Jegs # 672-3743R on sale, Summit # MTT-3743R $185.95. You would have to call 1 800 345 4545 to get Jegs price. You may be able to find a set on here, but I don't like to buy used tires. I do agree with Chris I would go with Street radials. I made some passes on a set of Nitto drag radials ( P245/45-R17 $104.99 P275/40-R17 $153.99 at Jegs ) one time and they were not bad, but I like the M/T Street radial better. Not sure what will fix under that Goat.

On the valve spring deal. BUY THE DOUBLES, CRANE,PATRIOT,PRC or who ever. but dont skimp on those. i have broke a double before and they will save ur ***. I have used all three and they all work real well. Put them in and forget about them. the best 300 bucks u will spend. Thanks for the complemets on the truck. its been fun building on it. He ordered a boost controler today. So maybe we can get it to leave. it was only running 13lbs boost. planning on 25 with some more injectors.

Get some ET Streets not radials if you are a 6 speed. Radials suck on a stick but jam on an A4. They make a 26" tall ET Street in a 17" diameter. $173 in Summit catalog. These will hook you up.

RDTA, 25 psi? Thats awsome.

well, we hope the heads will stay down at that much. with the stock longblock it was making 21, anything more it would lift the heads and blow antifreeze out. It made 640/730 on the stock motor and a 76mm doing that.

Hey Chris, lilmangto is an A4 car that is why I mentioned the M/T Street Radials. Did you open that rear up? Just wondering what broke?

Chris, I'm glad your running that clutch because that's the one I was planning on getting. I read so much on here about the spec's not holding up and just wonder if the ones having problems either aren't installing it right or not breaking them in right. I'm gonna get me some ET Streets hopefully soon. My dad's friend has some draglites on his 69 that I'm hoping he might sell or let me borrow for that day if I don't buy any by then. I think I'm gonna bring my trailer to cause I foresee my rearend kicking the bucket that day. RDTA, 25lbs of boost will be sick on that truck, can't wait to see it run on it. I'm curious about what broke on Chris's rearend also. I was thinking about getting a 9 inch when I upgraded, but might go with the S60 instead seeing how he's gone through 3 so far.

Nope haven't ripped into it yet. Probably tomorrow though. In the 9" defense, The first one died when I did a burnout with no water in the box at RRR. You 6 speed guys watch out for this on every run because the guys at RRR are know for this. You stock 10 bolt 6 speeders especially! This has been the death of many stock 10's.
5500rpm clutch dumps on et streets on a very sticky track is very hard on a rearend.
The second one is 100% my fault. Going from 3rd back into 2nd at 100 mph is a killer on everything I'll post you guys a picture of the carnage when I get it apart. My first 9" lived 5 years before it broke and my 10 bolt was still going when I sold it in another car.
