Working TH-400 with stock converter. $100 picked up or can possibly meet up somewhere for a little gas $$.

Is it a long tail shaft or a short one? What is it out of? $10 sounds fair if it's what I'm looking for. La. Ark. state line sound like half way? Any chance you have any pics?

I'll have to double check and see what tail shaft it is. It's in a '79 3/4 ton Suburban I bought to get the 454 out of. I can meet you at that old gas station/truck stop there at the state line if it's what you're looking for. I'll go look at it after work tomorrow. I don't have any pics yet b/c it's still in the truck, but I'm pulling the motor/tranny Friday and I can send you some then.

Its going to be a short tail. The 400s only have a 4" tailshaft. The TH-350s have either a 4" or 6" tail.

nope, I have a long tail Th400. Form what I can find, they only put them in big caddys and buicks. It is a 2 wheel drive right?
