Good garages Anyone have any good stories, or horror stories about any performance stations they've had their cars worked on? As I'm relatively new to the area, and looking to have some work done, I want to make sure I don't go somewhere they do shoddy work. I'm around Charlotte area, but anything in 200 miles is worth it if they have a history as fine tuners.
yeah, nicks shop is in my opinion, one of the best around. bob (the mechanic) is a really nice guy and knows anything their is to know about these cars.
their shop is located rite off highway 150 on the same road mooresville dragway is on.
ive got the card around here somewhere with the shop number but ill hafta find it first.
as soon as i find it ill let you know or im sure someone will beat me to it.

if you wana check out nicks shop, me and some people are haveing a dyno day on the 10th of next month (the thread is rite below this one "dyno day")

Awesome. They have a website by chance? I've been asking around a few other forums, and another one that's getting some attention is XXXTreme Performance ( http://www.lakenorman.com/index.php?...ponsor&id=3741 ). Anyone have any experience with them?
nah, nicks shop does not have a website. it has only been open for a little over a year now. bob use to work for mooreperformance out of charlotte untill they went out of buisness.
and no, ive never hurd of that place before, do they specialize in f-bodys? or is it an all around performance shop?

All domestic from what I'm told. But I haven't talked with any of the service guys yet, not on a sunday anyway. But if I find somewhere with a H/C package for a decent price, I might go with it. I'm still not positive on everything and what I want to do yet.
