we won!!!
we won!!! we loaded the lighning up for the true street class at RRR. and we was number 1 qualifer. with a 10.18. thats with a 275/60 drag radial. But we didnt leave with no parts breakage. The th400 decided to loose 2nd gear on the first elem. so we won shifting from 1 to 3rd. went 10.20 doing that. So we went home happy tho. was alot of fun.
400. enough to cover the trip. not counting the tranny. But it was fun. the class was all between 10. teens to 11.0's But the real fun was the true 10's. those cars are a blast to watch. Couple of cars dragging the bumper 1/2 way down the track. the fastest one ran 5.0's in the 1/8th.

Yeah next time we'll skip the $100 hotel bill for friday night, and hopefully the $50 trailer spare replacement.

I skipped this one but I ended up make a trip out there with the trailer to pull the white/blk stripped SS home. His Edelbrock Tq arm bent and took out the driveshaft. Not sure about the rearend and trans yet. We had to sit at that wreck for over an hour on the trip out to the track. That was a REALLY bad wreck. Flying J fuel truck=1 90's Z71=0

Brian & Frank ya'll are a blast and I'm very happy for you. You guys really may a long haul to race and always seem to be having a great time running that truck. Sorry I didn't get back with you on the hotel, but I drove over to Wolfe Craft to pick up my roll bar Friday and stopped in the totally nude bar coming home. I didn't get in til 4 am, missed my bass tourney, missed your runs, pretty much missed Saturday. Cainsw is Chris he is running the dark camaro, I'm Wayne running the white vert, Chris's uncle runs the white camaro with black stripes. Anyway WAY TO GO!!!!!!

Next time we'll get up early sat a.m. and drive down for the race, and head back afterwards and stop overnight saturday night, because we did that anyways.
Gotta go pull the TH400 out, gonna get it fixed and turn up the boost for the april race. I think I'm gonna need it to try to win 2 in a row.

cool thanks. yea the camaro that i saw was the white with the stripes. we all walked up to it, but then I didnt reconagize anyone. Well the truck is parked now but the chevelle is alive and running.
