Got a ticket on the way to Pinks :( Yep. I was all in a hurry to get down to Rockingham...and I got pulled over on 220 in between Greensboro and Asheboro. Damn state trooper wrote me a ticket for 80 in a 65. I had one ticket 2 years ago that was dismissed after I went to a driving class, but that's it. I'm thinking it's best to just pay a lawyer the $75 to go to court for me. Anyone have any recommendations on lawyers for Randolph County, NC?
north carolina= prayer for judgement if you havent used it already no lawyer needed just tell the da thats what you want granted you are an NC resident of course i didnt look
I got puleld over at the track friday night. I drove from Savannah to the rock on friday night and went to find where the track was just so i knew where to go Saturday morning, I didnt step foot on the track or even get out of my car. I pulled in to turn around and when I pulled off my back wheels were in a sand spost and the tires spun for like half a second and this ********** pulls me over and says I was hotrodding it and asks why I can leave it at the track, all the meanwhile my 3 year old is dead asleep in the back seat next to the nitrous bottle

I dont know about up in NC, but I paid a lawyer here in Arlington 50$ to show up with me at the little mini-trial whatever they call it.. I told him I am diabetic, and to lie cheat and steal my way out of the ticket. When we walked into the room he says "Hi Barry, hows the wife and kids doing?" - I got off with 1 month of ticket probation and a small fine.. 72 in a 40 =)

That's what i've heard. Especially cause of my age (20)...Maybe I'm wrong, who knows. Either way, I don't want to find out. I prefer to have NO points against me.
I had tons of tickes from when i was 17 until I was 21, my ins never went up much at all. **** I am 24 now and still have a bunch of tickets on record and mine is very cheap now. 100 a month for full coverage on 2 vehicles.
part of it is that some ins companies dont check your driving record unless you are applying for a policy, once you have a policy they dont check it anymore, therefore not seeing the tickets. Although i get most of my tickets out of state anyway, im not sure how the different states report tickets.

While living in Indiana and Illinois I got tickets and my insurance never went up...Once we moved to NC my fiance got a notice that her insurance is going up b/c of a ticket she got for turning at a no turn on red almost a year ago in IL!!! And we have the same insurance company we've always had. NC insurance is very picky about tickets for some reason.
Tickets don't hurt your insurance much. Wrecks kill it though. It took me 3 tickets and 2 wrecks to double my insurance. Your insurance MIGHT go up $10-20 a month if that.
