Default Pump Gas Drags

Well I got a few times at Pump Gas Drags. My first time running the 1/4 miles. My first pass was the fastest I ran a 11.08 @ 136.50 on a 2.0 60ft. If you all don't know you have to run a street legal tire. I ran a Mickey Thompson Drag radial 275/60/15. I was pretty pleased that was on lower boost than normal 12psi. I was having trouble over boosting when I checked it before loading on the trailer to take it over. So I turned the boost controller down a little too much. The runs I did were with the AR at 10.2 which is really rich. Over all I had a blast it was a lot of fun and a guy off here won it. I have alot of video. One of Heafners Vipers was there and run a best of 8.18 @ 172 on pump gas with twin T76's. I was wanting to make a 10 second pass but did too much of a burn out and spun taking off and run a 11.2 @ 131 hot lapping it.

Man that trap speed shows you have a lot better e.t. left in it! I would say low low 10's won't be far.

I was kinda wondering why you didn't get on the breaks a little at the end so you didn't get DQ'd in qualifying? I don't know what the bump was though.

that is some good pics. The reason I ran it out is because I knew I wouldn't be able to go rounds with having to run 11.48's so I just ran it out. Let me know when video is ready I will order a couple.

I thought I read somewhere that the 275/60 was the biggest tire they were going to allow this year? It sure looked like the Fbody that won had 315s on it though.

No, but there was an Orange 1st gen that had 315s and rake LIKE WOA! Only one ford turd.. err truck in the event ( it was among the sweetest sounding though..)
C'mon Frank, next year we will both try to get in PGD.

I was wondering how fast the car went, bummer about no roll bar in it as I figured you'd be too fast for the safety standards.

The tire rule was any size drag radial, any dot slick with 11.25" or less tread measured by a go no-go gauge (couple people failed that).
