I said demod, not strip. I was able to pull all after market parts off car and put all stock parts back on car before the insurance company (adjuster) came to take pics and do whatever they do.
my insurance did not give me any additional money for upgrades (such as Z06 wheels) (BMR K member) witch stayed on the car. If you leave it on there you are giving it away.
If they total it, you can buy it back and then part it out.

gonna find out tom. if the car is fixable or not....talked to the adjuster today and he said that it had to go to gwatney for an estimate and if it wasnt enough(i dont see how it wont be) they would fix it...soooo im just gonna have to wait and see....
