totaled the SS
totaled the SS thats right my little red SS...is gone 
.....it got away from me lastnite on 67/167 when was gettin on the hiway....slid sideways all the away across the road over john harden and into a 3 foot cement manhole...knockin the back left tire off..bent the rim....pass side tire sticks out another 4 inch further than it should...and pretty much shredded that axle..couldnt tell if i fucked the front up or not but looks like the valance sticks alittle above the hood ....cops show up and ask the usual...actually pretty cool....the state patrol comes up and talks his mess...asked what happened talk to the lady in the van....she actually saw the whole thing and agreed w/ me that i wasnt speedin b/c i wasnt....and the cop gave me a citation sayin it was to fast for conditons...man fellas i had my LS1 for 3 years....i havent called my insurance yet b/c id rather talk to my parents guy who does our work....but im just in such a depressed mood i dont know what to do

I feel you man. By the looks of it you are not alone. There are other LS1techers wrecked their fbodies today/yesterday also. Holy **** man..sorry to hear. Where abouts on John Harden?
Bene isn't lyin..there is a few that wrecked theirs in the general section, all cause of the damn Rain.
Where is the Car at now, post some pics and maybe some of us can give some ideas on what's messed up.

Wow just wow. I don't know what to say man. I loved that car to. it's good to see your not hurt or in the hospital. funny thing was I was on that highway that night sometime... Can't wait to see what your gettin next!

If you lose the car, try to get some $$ for some of your mods at least, that's what I did with my last f-body.

thanks for all the replies fellas ...it makes me feel better....i dont know anything about how much theyll give...sooo i have to keep u guys updated but here are some of the pics and no its not repairable...plus i had insurance under my parents still and my dad wants me to have it totaled out.....i plan on gettin another

Well hopefully there is a way that you might be able to get some money from it by parting some of it out..I have an interest in some of the LS1 parts for my new setup..thinkin about goin to M6 with my new Engine.

It sucks that it happened, so hopefully he can get something better out of it in return..
