Default Custom Racing Seats in O/E Patterns!

This is a repeat of a post in the Appearance and Detailing Forum. We are a newer sponsor and would like to make everyone aware of our capabilities. We offer our seats in a variety of materials and colors. They are made to order in about 3 weeks according to the customers preferences. You will find more information and pictures on the website in the signature. After making seats for Tony (Nine Ball) in the original hounstooth pattern for the 69 Camaro we began offering seats with inserts to match the o/e seats for other cars. Customers have provided their o/e color when applicable and the stitching pattern measurements and we have done our best to match our seats to the car.

We feel this is an excellent all around seat for many reasons. It has tremendous support for those who autocross or light track use but is still comfortable for daily driven cars. It also has great "show car" looks for those that matters too as well. We can offer pricing in simulated leather, leather or suede if needed. Package pricing including mounting brackets (if we have them available) and SEAT BELT GUIDES for those who need them (what other seat company went through the trouble to plan for installing those) can be provided. We offer heated seats and many logos as well. We can get a quote to set up your own custom logo if desired!

Some pictures of recent work are below. Check the website for additional information.

Some installed seats can be seen below:

The seats about 32 lbs but with sliders and mounting brackets your over 40 lbs so I don't know if there's a weight savings.

how wide are they in comparison to stock seats? How about fitting a door bar in between the doorpanel and seat?

On a newer car with a map pocket it gets tight. There was a little more room to move the seat in the photos on the link below toward the center.

That's the problem - nobody! We make our seats to order because we offer so many options (partial list below) so selling through shops would be challenging. And our current pricing direct to the public for what we offer does not leave us much room to discount to stores so there is not enough incentive for them to distribute.

Harness slot or solid headrest
2 different back bolster designs
2 bottom widths
Seat belt guides
Subbelt slots for harness
Adjustable lumbar support
GM/Ford or custom logos
Seat heaters

Perfectly understandable. We just up the road from FL. Unfortunately the "road" is I95! We're in CT!

I can tell you this. In almost 4 years we have had 1 person buy seats who didn't like the feel of them and didn't find someone else local to them who would buy them from them. They're not for everybody - especially someone who has not owned or is familiar with a seat with tall side bolsters.

The forum administrator Tony (Nine Ball) started this thread with his comments on on seats we made for him:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/743671-arizen-custom-seats-awesome.html

We did a test fit for a bracket in a Camaro and the second post on the link below starts the car owners comments on seat comfort:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=749274

There are other member posts as well but I realize seat comfort is subjective.
