Hey guys, I am located in Columbus, GA and I am looking for anything LS1 powered for about $8,000. I would really prefer a Trans Am but I will also consider a nice Camaro. Whatever it is would it would have to be a 6 speed but if it is clean and in good condition I might (I just might) take an automatic. Black or Silver is preferred but I will probably take other colors. Decent mileage would be nice too but for 8,000 dollars I am not expecting a 30,000 mile showroom condition car (or am I j/k). Even if it has 100,000 miles if it is in good condition and has been well taken care of I will also accept it. I will be willing to pick it up if it's in the surrounding states but if I can I may travel further. Sorry if I am sounding too picky, but this will be my daily driver for a few years back and forth to school/work and I don't want my car to crap out on me 2 days after I bring it home.

There's a guy here that I know with a black T/A 6 speed for sale. I've done most of the work on it and if I had the money I would buy it from him. It has about 104,000 miles on it and I think all it needs done is a tune up. Car looks really sharp and it has the WS6 wheels on it with tan leather interior. He wants $6500 for it. If your interested in coming to louisiana to get it I can get ya'll in touch.

 

blue98Z sounds like he knows of a good car for the $$$. I'll help you out, forget a GN, since you want a dependable DD. At best case, you'll find a 20 year old G body with well over 100K in your price range, and let me assure you, that old a hairdryed 231" ain't gonna take kindly to being a reliable dd for long.

 

There's a black auto w/120,000 miles for like 4 or 5 grand for sale in my apartment complex. It has a new paint job its a Z28... has a few problems. I can get you a number if you'd like.
