All aluminum LS1 engine price?

Whats a brand new LS1 in the crate worth? Its suppose to be alum block and heads. GM part number 89017652. Thinking about selling one and trying to get an idea of what they are worth. Thanks

ive seen a couple on ebay for around 3800. this thing is still in the crate never even been out of the plastic. built on 2/28/05

Does it come with a transmission? Or is it just the motor? If its jsut the motor and brand new i would say somewhere around $3500 is about right.

ya $3000-$3500 its just going to be hard to find somebody thats looking for a "Brand New" motor bc they go all day long for under 2gs and have anywhere from 15-80k miles on them.
