Put some D/Rs and make it 3600 pounds and I'll cover frank on the 500 or maybe 1000
Who said Frank's truck was too slow??? My car just happens to be a bit quicker. As far as Frank using a truck and drag radials, thats his choice, not mine. So you're saying you aren't willing to cover Frank as it sits now???

Why all the **** talking about half of my truck? You think I wanted to have HALF a truck? As Mark said, its still 500lbs heavier than your car.

I never talked trash, simply stated facts. And congrats for your record. Just like I said EARLY in this thread "Good job Don!"

If you dont like me, fine, I don't care. But don't put down the people who have helped me out because of that. My "sponsors" have helped out in a time of need... Did I HAVE to have them, no, but their help allowed me to win 2 races at centerville (YES ONLY TWO! Even though the concensus is that my truck was so dominating that it should be outlawed), and the two that I set records at.

You know, the whining and bitching takes some of the fun out of it. But oh well... I have a brand new converter I'm testing for a vendor on here and the lightning site. Alot of new stuff in it and I'm not even sure we'll have time to get it done. I know I wont have time to mess with it. I have a 19month old and a 1month old so my free time is very limited.

Am I going to have to bring my partialy finsished Focus with the 347 to get the record. Congrats Dewy. I'm not complaining, but I thought the new rules state a 302 based motor only. Does anyone know when the rules meeting is??????Or are they going to make the rules with only a picked handfull. Good luck this weekend, its going to be a cold ..... I'm out of the game for now the pockest run dry.

I don't have anything against you Frank. But your buddy Mark likes to start alot of crap at the track, saying that you will be back next weekend to take the record back. So I imagine you're not going to let him down. If you take the record back again, so be it. But your going to have to work for it. Another rumor I heard was that you were going to put the record out of reach for anyone for a long time.
When and if they do come out with the new rules, I'll be long gone. So it won't make a diff to me. They typically have the rules meeting in Jan, I'll ask Wayne for ya if they have set a date and location as of yet.

Well if I'm not there then I guess I'll be letting him down. I have no idea when I'll be able to work on the truck. But I still want to know what you mean by half a truck? I may not be racing my truck next year since I'm raising a family. So you'll be gone due to your commitments with the goverment (Thank you for serving!) and I'll be MIA due to my family commitments which come before racing.

I was just pokin fun at ya about your bad azz lightning turned ole farm truck. Like I said earlier, I'm sure you all put forth your best effort on getting the truck ready for the shootout, and I commend you for that. I certainly didn't think that you would be able to pull it off after seeing the pics on the website. You and the crew have 2 full days, not to include Thanksgiving, to put a converter in. I'm sure you are all up to the task. So $500 best 2 out of 3 or what???

Unless the weather changes there is no sense in discussing it. 49 degrees is the high and 60% chance of rain. I'll be at home next to my wood stove which I still need to clean out if I'm gonna use it!

And who are you besides a screen name behind a computer? The name calling is stupid. You know I am sure this is how and why the last thread regarding this topic got deleted, I can see another one going with it.
