Ok guys that live in Lousiana. Go and buy a cheap cell phone that comes with GPS. Have it activated and turn it on.
Then, wire your phone charger into the cigarette lighter or any other always hot wire. Then plug your charged into your phone and let it charge all the way. Somehow secure your phone behind the dash with the charger still hooked up and hidden.
Voila your own lil device to find your car. All you have to do is call some number i believe and they will tell you the whereabouts your car is

You could subscribe to Nextel GPS Service. And be without your phone... [Nextel will sell u another]. For the money there may be better alternatives.

Yes, after mine was stolen and recovered i installed one to cut the power to the ignition! Hopefully it will help in some aspects along with the alarm, but if they come along with a flat bed then there is not much you can do!

true kill switches stop the cut keys from working but only you and your piece can stop the tow truck, the alarm(aftermarket) should alert you so you can handle up.

Yea, had the stock alarm and no kill switch when it got stolen, now i installed the kill switch and viper alarm so hopefully it deturs them a little. But like you said if its in front of my house and it goes off i'm not only coming out with my gun but with my shepard too so he can play around!!

You just buy any type of toggle swith and run under the dash or where you would hide it and then mine is run to the starter! So the car doesnt respond at all when you put the key, and there is a way to tap it directly into the ignition some how but i had trouble doing it that way so changed it to run to the starter. that is how mine is done. I would recommend it its very simple, i would even do it for you if you didnt want to fool with it. I'm going to be out there sunday with either a maroon 95 Z28 or a black 95 Z28! The maroon one is the one that was stolen and has the switch, havent gotten around to do it to the other!
