yeah the reason why I let TJ make a pass was because Bud said the car kept lifting up on the launch, so I wanted him to do it so I could so how the car was reacting. It's the same setup (that's why the tires are old), but I swapped out the stock upper/lower control arms for UPR solid lowers and double adjustable uppers with spheical bushings. I also have an aluminum block which takes a lot of weight off the nose. Like I said the car should be 60'ing better than it did.

No I bought a motor/trans setup before katrina that i'm puting in there. Not that I havent thought about it. Cal Hartline,a guy that is big in the buick community has a stock ls1 in his grand national and it runs in the 9's at 143 mph. If you are looking for an s 10 project there is an s-10 in my neighborhood back here in Springhill that is for sale

cool Bud, sounds like you have a plan. Like I said my car will most likely be gone by then and I'll have a new toy. I'm looking for something along the lines of these...

built will probably go with a turn key car like this because it'll save time, money and headaches

There's a Chevy Luv on a trailer in Chalmette sitting in a parking lot off 510. Looks like it already has a narrowed rear, big tires, and snorkel hood scoop.

Looks good from the road. I haven't stopped to see what they are asking, and what it includes. It'll be on the right shortly after you hit the 40 mph section.
