Thats awesome! Because i really didnt want to screw around with it myself being that i have never changed them before, but was goin to give it a shot! But for that price i will let him throw them in there! The only the is i have
2:73s which is a 2 series carrier, and i need a 3 series carrier for 3:42s or 3:73s!?!? Thats how it was explained to me! Ask him if that is right PLEASE! that is what was holding me back!

Yes, you will either need a 3 series carrier or you will have to buy special gears for the 2 series carrier, that are more expensive. Might be cost effective the first time out. But, when you need to change your gears later,
it will cost more for the gears again. I would just spend the money on a 3 series carrier so gears can be bought cheaper every time you have to change them out.

That would be nice, but FYI I went through 3 rearends before I finally bought a 12 bolt. And, I'm currently on my 5th tranny. My next tranny will be a powerglide with a transbrake.

Lol! Your running a little bit stiffer setup than me(only boltons and Rarely track driven) so i will probably take my chance on the first go around and save my money for a 12 bolt in my track car project! That is where all my money is going for a Long time lol!

I set up an appointment with Allan this morning for a F13 install in my GTO for March 10th. I may go just to hang out though.

As for Chuck coming into town for some tuning, I'm not sure where that stands. I know there were a few GTO owners in the area signing up, but that's been a few weeks ago.

Richmond makes gears for GM? Learn something new every day. I've always used GM gears cause i find them a lot quieter than most aftermarket I've tried over the years.
