I'm just about ready for mark... I need some seat time and experience with all the new electronics before i'm ready for you richie. I know what your car is capable of and i at least want to put on a good show.

cool april the 11th i'll be there i was plaining on getting some new times on the bike after the tune but i can bring the camaro or formula also i guess can't wait to see yall there

 

Well suspension is finally set and working on the blue car. First time out leaving on the spray......i'd say it hooks pretty good. Dave said he'll run you too richie when me and you get around to running. Should be an interesting day. There are reasons our cars have a bag of laundry on the back of them.

why is there still a grudge againts richies car. why do you want to beat him so bad.

 

nothing in that statement said anything about a grudge. I just posted what he's up against with dave. He's at a completely different level now. On another note, i haven't said anything about racing yet. I was passed the word at the lakefront sunday by Travose that he wanted to race me anytime after the 10th. Like i said...nothing was said to be a grudge. I just want to race because he said he beat me already. I at least want a rematch.

 

word was passed by Brad to travose that you areready for me the second your car comes from the dyno.. did you say this?? if not its a prime example how **** gets mixed up between second parties i told travose the car is getting tuned on the 10th so it wouldnt be till after then when the car will be ready.

 

You should know better than to listen to brad I think if anyone would be the one to have a grudge it's brad. I don't even talk about racing, brad is the instigator. He's my boy, but you should know what to expect from him.

I won't be going on the dyno until the last week in april. I have the dyno reserved already and my tuner is flying in the last week. I'm fortunate his brother in law lives here and they come to visit all the time.

PLUS, this is a COMPLETELY different car now. New trans, new rear, new motor, new power adder, and new electronics. Myself and everyone else who actually have a car to race (not brad) know that you don't just get in and go as fast as it will go. I have to get this boost controller dialed in, suspension set, and some passes in.

Now daves car.....on the other hand.......is quite ready to race

 

yea i assumed that about brad thats why i didnt jump to conclusions and jump on your case. BTW when you mentioned "in a different level now" were you refering to me, you or dave because the set up in my camaro is the exact set up that was in my TA as anyone of my friends can tell you, it was removed from the ta and put in the camaro only difference is, i no longer have a cat back or a direct port nitrous kit. So in other words i am still in the same level now as i was back in the day.. and if daves set up is anything like his old set up, our race will end up like it did back in the day

 

my black cobra went the best of 11.02 with some gears, pulley, nitrous and a cold air kit. I had maybe 800 bucks in that car. I planned on putting a stoker with the blower i bought, but the 03's came out built and looked better so i bought the 03. As for dave's car...he's made some changes and thats the first time out on slicks leaving on the spray. He's ran that car on drag radials every pass but that one and it skated down the track the whole way with the drag radials. I won't post any times for him. But i'm out in the open...you can youtube a dozen videos of my set up. I just have a better motor, a lot more fuel volume and a bigger turbo sitting just in case i don't go fast enough. An auto, single 88 mm turbo went 8.95 and a 76mm went 9.50. I'll be happy with 10.0's first time at the track. I have to get the two step right, and get the boost controller dialed in.

honestly the car has never seen a 9 sec pass car has been a 10.8xx at 123 i think it was on the motor car has not been sprayed due to the tune if you are making this assumption by the race with me and the cutlass dont let it fool you the cutlass ran the best of a 11.7 at the track not on the street, i blew his doors off but you and i both know what happens when you line a 10sec car up to a low 12-high11 sec car....
i am not out to hustle anyone thats why you havent seen me race anyone, i raced the cutlass b/c he was telling everyone he was going to take this white boys money before christmas and i was proving a point

 

Well sorry to rain on the race but, My car will not be ready for April 11th!!!! I can't get it tuned by then and i still need 2 more parts.....

 

I knew that was going to happen. Maybe i'll actually make it when it actually happens
