I've got them. I don't know if their particularly better than anything else. Their equal length... whether that helps or not is debatable.

I have used them on two cars, an F body and a GTO. I personally think they are great headers. Ive never had any issues with the finish like some people complain about.

Installing them sucked pretty bad on the Fbody, not so bad on the GTO.

There are definately other headers that are easier to install.

I have 2 sets. The set on the formula have been on since june 03. I have no complaints or problems. I have bought many parts since we have a few cars. I will say I have never had a problem with anything I've bought from SLP. Everything has always bolted up easy. No problems with quality, fit, or just having to make an adjustment to make it fit. Their parts are my first choice. I wish all aftermarket parts had the fit as correct as SLP.

Agreed.

Money (less money) much better spent elsewhere on other headers.

You will be pleased with the sound and performance of the SLP's. I would say they're the best up to a point. If I was running a big cube small block with alot more nitrous, I would be looking at something like a set of QTP stepped headers or something... but for a stock disp. LS1, they're about as good as you can get.

On the other hand though, I've seen a T/A that supposedly ran 9.70's with a set of Mac's (cheap mid-length).
